Venetian Gem® Finish Coat is a light bodied, translucent, decorative plaster material. Developed by Faux Effects International, Inc., Venetian Gem® Finish Coat is specially formulated to produce designer quality, ‘old world plaster’ finishes. With this product, professional decorative and faux finishing artists now have the capability to easily incorporate exquisite multi-colored or highly polished metallic effects into their plaster work.

Product Tips
- Venetian Gem™ Finish Coat produces a more even sheen than burnishing and dries to a satin finish.
- This material cannot be burnished, for a higher glossy shine use Venetian Gem™ Clear Gloss Coat.
- If applying Venetian Gem™ Finish Coat over a good quality flat latex or semi-gloss paint, allow the base material to dry for a minimum of 24 hours. Over flat or semi-gloss oil paint, allow the paint to dry a minimum of 48 hours prior to the application of Venetian Gem™ Finish Coat.
- For improved water and chemical resistance, exterior applications of Venetian Gem™ Finish Coat should be top coated with C-500 Urethane™ or AquaThane™.
