AquaExtender™

AquaExtender™ (formerly known as Master Extender™) is a clear additive for glazing mediums, developed to increase the open time of AquaCreme™ and AquaGlaze®. AquaExtender™ is especially helpful in dry, hot environments or large projects where it is important to maintain a wet edge. The recommended amount to add to the glazing material ranges from 5 – 25%. The addition of AquaExtender™ to glaze mixtures increases open time, but at the same time greatly slows down the glaze curing time. As a result, the full level of durability will take longer to achieve.

Product Tips
- DO NOT exceed adding 50% AquaExtender™ to any glazing medium.
- Always make a sample to ensure desired results.
Basic Application
- Seal the work surface with 2 coats of SetCoat™ or SetCoat® Clear.
- Mix up to 25% AquaExtender™ withAquaCreme™ or AquaGlaze® and the appropriate colorant (see workshop instructions for product).
- Apply glaze mixture to work surface with a brush, roller, or spray unit.
- Use the correct glazing technique toestablish the desired pattern. Let dry approximately 48 hoursbefore applying any topcoat.
- Topcoat with ColorSeal™,AquaGard™, or AquaThane™ where necessary.
